Welcome to our travel blog. We are a Canadian couple who have set out to backpack around the world, and we are currently making our way from Mexico to Argentina. We created Seek New Peaks to offer practical advice and personal stories to both inform and inspire.

We are dedicated adventurers who love to do anything that allows us to immerse ourselves in nature. Whether that be summiting volcanoes, snorkelling with sharks, or simply lounging on the beach, we capture the big moments and all of the small moments in between through a mixture of Jeremie’s photography and Carmanah’s storytelling.

Even though we have a tight budget, we refuse to sacrifice amazing new experiences. We don’t mind making peace with discomfort and figuring it all out as we go along so that you don’t have to. We think that the beauty of travel lies in personal growth, and our goal is to help others to get outside of their comfort zones and off the beaten path. We are so excited to have you along with us for the journey.
